In India, generations of economically weaker families are unable to come out of the vicious cycle of poverty. One way of breaking this cycle is by providing higher and vocational education to their children enabling them to get better jobs.
HELP has been formed to address this issue. The mission of the Society is

• To provide financial aid for :
  • Graduate/Post Graduate professional courses having direct bearing for future employment.
  • Non-graduate vocational courses such as ITI, which will improve the job prospects.
  • Society may also consider meeting expenses of coaching classes for securing admission in professionl courses.
• To provide career counselling and vocational guidance to students of class 10 onwards to help them identify their strengths and choose the educational stream most suitable for their future growth and prospects.
• To collaborate with other bodies and institutions who have similar aims and objects, to enter into a joint venture relationship with foreign body having similar aims and objects, to evolve suitable schemes in partnership with corporate bodies so as to serve the aims and objectives of the Society.
• Besides supporting education, HELP would take up other social and charitable causes for the welfare of the society at large.

ROSE(Responsibility of societal enrichment) is an initiative of Students of UBS(University Business school), Chandigarh which provides school education to children of a slum in Panchkula. ROSE is helping us by conducting career counseling sessions with Class 11 and 12 students of JNV, Chandigarh.
